Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III) to greet patients, collect blood samples, and prepare specimens for lab testing across multiple sites in California.

The role requires confident patient interaction and precise handling of specimens according to established procedures. You will work under supervision, maintain a safe, professional environment, and travel to various locations to support patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy with minimal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington.
• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills in a fast-paced environment with attention to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a trustworthy, professional environment.
• Perform verification of patient demographics and labeling checks post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Travel to multiple locations to support Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy as needed.
