Job summary

Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to oversee front desk, patient services, and child watch operations at the Nisqually Generations Healing Center. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure a welcoming patient experience across medical, dental, behavioral health, and substance use services, and collaborate with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with healthcare office experience.
• 4+ years medical/clinical office experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a medical/clinical setting.
• Experience handling medical records and EHR systems.
• Valid Washington driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to work with vulnerable populations including adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk and patient services operations.
• Supervise front desk and child watch staff including training and scheduling.
• Ensure child watch program compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling across departments.
• Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks and communications.
• Monitor patient flow and identify process improvements.
• Maintain patient records in the EHR with confidentiality.
• Ensure HIPAA and 42 CFR part 2 compliance.
• Oversee patient registration and insurance verification.
• Develop staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Support data tracking and reporting for scheduling.
• Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced environment.
