Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Register new patients, update records, and verify insurance authorization.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments for efficient use of slots.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances; assist with payment plans.
• Reconcile daily payments and prepare/upload documents.
• Coordinate outgoing referrals to specialists as needed.
• Maintain a neat front desk area and coordinate with medical staff for smooth patient flow.
• Handle confidential patient information with care and privacy.
• Provide coverage for other clinics when required and participate in cross-training.
