Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator on Mercer Island, WA. This role coordinates payments, insurance verification, authorizations, and scheduling, acting as the crucial link among patients, providers, and insurers to ensure a smooth care journey.

You will engage in HIPAA-compliant billing, pre-authorization processes, and intake coordination while supporting a nationwide practice that values development, teamwork, and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
