Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Previous customer service or healthcare experience preferred.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced settings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between patients and the healthcare team.
• Register patients and collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments to support efficient operations.
• Communicate appointment information and expected timelines to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to check in patients.
• Collect copayments, coinsurance, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
• Provide appointment reminders and assist scheduling needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and Covenant Health values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
