Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the essential link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey. You will verify insurance coverage, secure prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, and keep scheduling efficient while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• HIPAA privacy and security knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain benefits information.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Oversee weekly/monthly reconciliation of charges.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
