Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the essential link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring seamless care journeys and efficient operations.

You will verify coverage, obtain authorizations, coordinate referrals, and help optimize scheduling, contributing to a positive patient experience and a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, healthcare preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Time: Monday-Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 8am-4pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
