Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our mission-driven team. You’ll be the link between patients, providers, and insurers, handling insurance verification, prior authorizations, and scheduling to keep care moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and charges.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits, and obtain authorization/prior authorization.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling to support patient care.
• Handle over-the-counter collections and reconcile billing weekly/monthly.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and internal departments.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Time: 8-5, Monday - Friday

Compensation

Pay Range: $16-$18/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
