Job summary

US Fertility in Katy, Texas is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will manage patient accounts, schedule appointments, and provide outstanding front-desk support in a fast-paced fertility clinic.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, handle benefits and billing inquiries, and ensure high-quality patient service. A high school diploma and 2+ years in an admin role are required; HIPAA knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years in an administrative role; medical office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical software, terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information.
  • Schedule appointments and optimize patient satisfaction and clinic workflow.
  • Address customer/patient issues and ensure effective short- and long-term resolution.
  • Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns.
  • Consult with patients regarding benefits, coverage and financial options.
  • Greet patients and visitors and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Occasional weekends and holidays as required.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for aPatient Services Coordinatorto join our team atShady Grove Fertilityin Katy, Texas.

  • Schedule:Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; rotating weekends and holidays

In this role, thePatient Services Coordinatorwill:

  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum patient needs and scheduling accordingly
  • Schedule appointments Address customer/patient issues and insure effective short-term and long-term resolution
  • Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns
  • Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial options
  • Greet patients and visitors to the office and providing high level of customer service Required to work occasional weekends and holiday
What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 2+ years previous experience in an administrative role; medical office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical software, terminology and procedures preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build and facilitate good working relationships with staff at all levels of organization
  • Demonstrated ability with exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and within deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
