US Fertility is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator (Float) Per Diem to join the team in Houston, TX. The role involves front desk duties, patient check-in, EMR entries, billing coordination, and support across multiple clinics in the Houston area.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, HIPAA awareness, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an administrative role; medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical software, terminology and procedures preferred.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front office operations.
• Check patients in for appointments and sanitize rooms.
• Answer patient calls and route to appropriate team.
• Register new patients into the laboratory EMR.
• Send and verify consents; take payments.
• Collaborate with Ovation Billing team on billing.
• Process and fax lab reports to referring physicians.
• Coordinate with lab staff and medical teams.
• Assist with transfers of cryopreserved specimens and records.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for aPatient Services Coordinator (Float) Per Diemto join our team atShady Grove Fertilityin Houston, Texas - Medical Centerwith rotations to Memorial City, Katy, Clear Lake, Spring Woodlands and Beaumont, Texas offices.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; rotating weekend and holidays, with rotating weekend coverage every 6 weekends

In this role, thePatient Services Coordinatorwill:

• Greet patients and manage front office
• Check patients in for appointments and sanitize rooms
• Answer patient phone calls and route appropriate team
• Register new patients into laboratory EMR
• Send and verify consents
• Take payments and work closely with Ovation Billing team
• Process and fax completed lab reports results to referring physicians
• Act as liaison between lab staff and medical team
• Work with patients looking to transfer cryopreserved specimens and their originating clinics to collect necessary records and organize shipments
• Assist lab staff in administrative projects
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Include

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 2+ years previous experience in an administrative role; medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical software, terminology and procedures preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build and facilitate good working relationships with staff at all levels of organization
• Demonstrated ability with exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
