Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Physician Liaison to build and maintain relationships with referral sources and the Community Relations team. The role involves handling paperwork requiring physician signatures and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding requests.

Key tasks include KPI monitoring, contacting doctor offices for status updates, maintaining KanTime data, and coordinating with therapists and other departments to support client care. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain monthly and quarterly KPIs and report findings.
  • Contact doctor offices to verify receipt of paperwork and status updates.
  • Update physician information in KanTime; process paperwork daily.
  • Coordinate with therapists, caregivers and other departments about client status.
  • Attend team meetings and gather outstanding paperwork for signatures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and participate in team goals.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Physician Liaison to add to our Team! This position creates and maintains a working relationship with current referral sources & Community Relations team in requesting various documents that may require physician signatures & maintaining communication to follow up on all outstanding requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain monthly & quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Contact doctor offices to verify and confirm receipt of paperwork
  • Contact doctor offices for status update of outstanding orders
  • Verify client primary care physician and well check information as needed
  • Update and maintain physician’s current and accurate information in KanTime system on an ongoing basis
  • Process all paperwork received on a daily basis in KanTime
  • Maintain open communication with therapist & caregiver and other departments of client status and any delays
  • Attend team routine meetings as needed.
  • Gather all outstanding paperwork for Community Relations team (CR) to deliver and retrieve signatures on orders.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices & procedures & report unsafe activity to your supervisor
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental & company goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements

  • Microsoft Office
  • Customer Service 1 – 2 years
  • Administrative Experience 1-2 years
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); combination of education and 1 year of experience

Other Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to read & write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups – may be required in more than one language
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide with simple two-digit numbers
  • Ability to carry out detailed but involved written instructions, able to problem solve with a few variables
  • Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite & database activity
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
