Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to act as the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers. You will verify insurance, secure authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize schedules to ensure seamless care access. Full-time schedule with 7am–6pm hours; compensation ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with incentives and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, healthcare experience preferred.

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
• Coordinate referrals and optimize physician schedules.
• Reconcile patient payments and HIPAA compliant handling of charges.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Time: availability within 7am-6pm M-F

Compensation

Pay Range: $17-19 an hour(Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
