Maintaining accurate patient information is another important part of this role. You will enter and update patient demographics, verify insurance coverage and communicate patient financial responsibilities. You will also collect consent forms, HIPAA acknowledgments and other required documentation while scanning, organizing and maintaining patient records.

You will communicate with referral sources and internal departments, assist with routine billing and administrative tasks and provide consistent support to the Champaign clinic team. Throughout the day, you will help maintain an organized, professional and welcoming front office.

  • Stay organized, pay close attention to detail and manage several responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Use computers, office equipment and data entry systems comfortably and accurately.

At least one year of front desk, administrative or patient service experience is preferred. Experience in a medical, dental, physical therapy, chiropractic or other outpatient setting is helpful, particularly with scheduling, patient registration or insurance verification. Familiarity with electronic health records, patient management systems and medical terminology is also a plus.

Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong backgrounds in scheduling, administration, reception or customer service involving a high volume of interactions are encouraged to apply.
