Responsibilities

• Greets, instructs and schedules patients; registers patients into the computer system; determines insurance benefits.
• Serves as a liaison between patient and clinical support staff.
• Maintains confidentiality; greets patients promptly and courteously; verifies and updates demographic and insurance information.
• Registers new patients and verifies addresses, phone numbers, and insurance information.
• Answers calls, screens messages, and relays information; proficient with medical office technology systems.
• Maintains neat front office and reception areas; informs Practice Manager of issues; attends meetings.
• Input daily balances of charges and receipts; follows policies and OSHA regulations.
• Works with staff to support teamwork and clinic efficiency.
