Job summary

First Choice Community Healthcare INC is seeking a PSR II/Billing Specialist at our Albuquerque site. The role focuses on ensuring payments for claims, verifying registrations, and managing accounts receivable related to dental services.

You will work under the Health Center Manager, coordinating with Dental Central Billing and providing patient billing support, registrations, and collections with bilingual capabilities as preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED certificate.
• Two years of onsite dental billing experience.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must possess PSR II knowledge.
• Ability to understand dental benefit knowledge and explain it in lay terms.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them; collect payments and set up payment plans.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; maintain AR for 90+ days.
• Prepare daily deposits and reconcile cash receipts for the Finance dept.
• Coordinate with Dental Central Billing; attend billing meetings.
• Answer billing inquiries and ensure timely claims processing.
• Update patient records; assist in billing/collections and reporting.
