• Collegiate or medical trade completion; associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance, communicates regularly with carriers and other regulatory agencies for reimbursement purposes.
• Performs daily and monthly close out procedures for internal controls and cash balancing.
• Maintains working knowledge of insurance co-pays and deductible, and workers' compensation protocols to ensure accurate billing information.
• Promotes customer satisfaction with a positive, professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communication.
• Answers telephones, takes and directs messages promptly to maintain workflow.
• Coordinates resources to input accurate demographic and medical data, collect fees, and assist with financial counseling.
• Carries out other duties assigned by the Clinic Manager and completes assigned goals.
