AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a patient-focused Administrative Assistant to welcome visitors in person or by phone and help coordinate services with nurses, physicians, and other team members. You will respond to inquiries, relay information, and support department operations while maintaining clear, respectful communication and following established procedures.

This full-time night shift offers benefits from day one and growth within the Healing Ministry of Christ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of position-related experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors in person or by telephone and assists patients as needed.
• Responds to requests and coordinates services with nurses, physicians and staff.
• Maintains department operations by following policies and procedures.
