Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Patient Services Advocate to warmly welcome patients and manage front office duties in Pico Rivera, CA. You will help create a positive patient experience while coordinating expectations with compassion and respect.

As a key member of the care team, you will support patient-focused services through excellent communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience required as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist- preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Job Overview

The Patient Services Advocate is an AltaMed ambassador by welcoming and attending to the needs of all patients and creating a positive front office patient experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. The Advocate also functions as a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient-focused care by demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.38 hourly

The range is subject to change.
