Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required if off-site duties.
• Maintain automobile liability coverage if using personal vehicle.
• Minimum three months of healthcare office experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine preferred.
• Medical terminology or coding experience desirable.
• Bilingual Spanish helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage under supervision according to policies.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, greet patients, register new patients in EPIC.
• Schedule laboratory and off-site tests as requested by physicians.
• Verify insurance eligibility and interpret benefits.
• Process patient charges, apply insurance, and record payments.
• Clinic setup and other office support tasks.
