Job summary

The HealthCare Connection, Inc. is seeking a Dental Patient Services Specialist to warmly welcome patients at the Lincoln Heights Health Center and guide them through the front desk registration process.

You will verify demographics, collect payments, schedule appointments, and assist with forms while supporting the Finance team and reporting tasks in a fast-paced, equity-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting (front desk, registration, or scheduling roles preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resume must be attached to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect payments and co-pays for services.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork.
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances.
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed.

As a Dental Patient Services Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. As the welcoming face of our Lincoln Heights Health Center, you’ll support patients throughout the front desk registration process.
