Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help ensure accurate, up-to-date records in a fast-paced medical office.

You will coordinate referrals, support cash reconciliation, handle patient questions with professionalism, and assist with general administrative tasks to ensure a positive patient experience across our multispecialty clinics.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed

We are Looking for:

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
