Job summary

CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to join our team in Houston, Texas. You will be the first point of contact for patients, greet visitors, verify information, and help ensure a smooth visit.

You will collect co-pays, confirm referrals, maintain accurate records, and support front-desk operations. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team.
