Job summary

CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to join its Houston multispecialty team. As the first point of contact, you will greet patients, verify information and insurance, and collect co-pays at the time of service.

You will maintain accurate patient records, ensure referrals are in the chart, and handle cash reconciliation. Strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.
