Job summary

CLS Health PLLC in Houston, TX is hiring a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, verify insurance and personal information, collect co-pays, and ensure referrals are in the chart before visits.

You will maintain patient records, perform cash reconciliation, handle patient concerns professionally, and support daily administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team.
