CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-ins, insurance verification, and payment collection in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive patient experience. Prior experience in a medical office and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance details.
• Collect co-pays and other fees at the time of service.
• Ensure referrals are entered in the patient chart before visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reconcile daily cash handling.

We are Looking for:

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements
