CLS Health in Houston, TX is hiring a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients. You will deliver excellent customer service, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and support smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Prior experience in medical offices and insurance billing is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information including insurance coverage and personal details.
• Collect co-pays and other fees at the point of service.
• Ensure referrals are in the patient’s chart before visits.
• Maintain patient records and keep them up to date.
• Count cash and complete cash reconciliation; sign off on reports.
• Handle patient complaints professionally and resolve issues.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

We are Looking for:

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed
