Granger Medical Clinic is hiring a full-time Patient Services Representative Float to provide coverage at various clinic locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley. The employee's home clinic will be West Valley/Fairbourne.

Ideal candidates are confident, self-motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact for patients, requiring excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of office reception experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedule patient appointments according to established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding appointment scheduling and other patient needs.
• Accurately collect and record demographic information for contact and insurance billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Representative Float. This position will provide coverage at various Granger Medical Clinic locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley, based on clinic needs. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The employee's home clinic will be the West Valley/Fairbourne location.

Overview:

The ideal candidate is confident, self-motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service. Patient Services Representatives play an important role in creating a positive experience for every patient and work closely with physicians, clinical teams, and support staff.

As the first point of contact for many of our patients, this role requires excellent communication, professionalism, organization, and customer service skills. Candidates must have at least one year of office reception experience; medical office experience is preferred.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Strong typing and keyboarding skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and enjoy working with people
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
• Additional language skills are a plus; Spanish is preferred

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Greet patients in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner

• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding appointment scheduling and other patient needs
• Accurately collect and record demographic information necessary to contact patients and process insurance billing for services provided
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year of office reception experience required
• Medical office experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Primarily sedentary work, including occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
