Job summary

CLS Health PLLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients. You will provide friendly customer service, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help ensure accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure referrals are in the patient's chart before the appointment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on EBO report.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

We are Looking for:

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service

• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
