Job summary

Dental Health Associates in Verona, VA, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to deliver a high level of patient care in a team-based clinical setting. The role focuses on friendly, efficient front desk service and seamless patient flow.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with treatment plans and financial arrangements, and support staff under the Office Manager’s guidance to ensure patient satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and/or concerns according to policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients

Dental Health Associates is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Verona,Virginia, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. Position Overview:

This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager.
