Job summary

The Dental Center of South Bend in South Bend, IN is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the welcoming front line, answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist patients with financial arrangements.

You will work in a team-based clinical setting, support staff, maintain appointment books, post charges, and help ensure a smooth patient experience with emphasis on outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.

• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
