Job summary

The Dental Center of South Bend, part of Dental Care Alliance, is seeking a Patient Service Representative in South Bend, IN to join our clinical team. We aim to provide exceptional patient care in a warm, team-based environment while handling front desk duties.

You will answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, post charges and payments, and assist with financial arrangements for treatment plans. Experience in healthcare customer service and knowledge of insurance plans are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage arrival/dismissal.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns according to DCA Policies.
• Answering telephones.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Maintaining appointment book.
• Confirming appointments.
• Follow up on no shows/cancellations.
• Register patients on sign-in sheet.

The Dental Center of South Bend is looking for a Patient Service Representative in South Bend, IN, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. Position Overview:

This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager.
