Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL, is seeking a Patient Service Representative - Peds to greet patients, answer calls, and schedule appointments. You will register new patients in EPIC, verify insurance, and process payments, contributing to smooth front-desk operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, keyboard and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license for off-site duties. Bilingual Spanish is helpful but not required.

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.

Position Highlights

• Position: Patient Service Representative - Peds
• Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time: 40 hours a week
• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours. Rotating Saturdays 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

Preferred

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred
• Medical terminology or coding experience
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required
