Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator for the Monroe location. You will greet and register patients, answer calls, take messages and schedule and reschedule appointments while maintaining the provider's calendar.

You will support clinical staff with outgoing calls to patients, pharmacies or other providers as needed, contributing to a positive patient experience and smooth front-desk operations in a busy medical practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 3 years' experience in a clerical or office function preferred.
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures.
