Job summary

RadNet in Union City, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointments. You will support front-desk operations, communicate professionally with patients and staff, and help ensure accurate documentation and patient flow in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and experience in customer service. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation regarding safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
