Loyola Medicine is seeking a Dynamic Scheduler to coordinate patient appointments across multiple sites, balancing orders, urgency of care and patient convenience. The role emphasizes efficient telephone communication, insurance verification and proficiency with scheduling software.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and healthcare administration background.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent training plus 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training preferred; 3 years experience as a Service Rep is highly desired.
• Experience in general administrative, healthcare or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care and patient convenience across multiple sites.
• Monitor physicians' schedules daily for optimal physician schedule.
• Verify insurance procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment.
• Proficient in clinical, registration and scheduling software systems; learn new systems as required.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of telephone calls and maintain strong customer service skills.
