Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Call Center Scheduling Coordinator to support our call center operations. This role manages inbound calls, schedules patient appointments, routes messages, and ensures accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record.

The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, clear communication, and a patient-focused approach to help patients feel supported and informed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in healthcare, call center, or high-volume environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and update patient demographic information in the Electronic Health Record.
• Route messages to the appropriate health centers, departments, and staff.
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients, callers, and internal team members.
• Follow call center procedures, workflows, and scripting guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
