Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Scheduling Concierge / Call Center Operator. You will be the first point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments and procedures, and handling messages and refill requests with accuracy according to office protocol.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and familiarity with EPIC. A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least one year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience, preferably in a medical office.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule office appointments and procedures.
• Take accurate phone messages and reminder calls.
• Process Rx refill requests and route through Epic.
• Ensure referrals are in the system for upcoming appointments.
• Provide patients with information on physicians and directions to locations.
• Deliver high-quality customer service on every call and support teamwork.
