Advancedderm in Wyandotte, MI is seeking a part-time Patient Scheduler for a fast-paced inbound call center. You will support patients across multiple locations, schedule appointments, and discuss available services with care and professionalism.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; HIPAA compliance is essential. Evening/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1+ year in a high-volume call center.
• 1+ year experience with back-to-back calling.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Notepad.
• 3+ years in customer service.
• Familiar with Nextgen and Cisco systems.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the direct contact for inbound/outbound calls for new and existing patients.
• Set up patient appointments and follow-ups for locations across the US.
• Consult with patients about services offered per location.
• Work independently but with a team player mentality.
• Problem solving and effective communication skills.

Requirements for a Patient Scheduler:

• Must be willing to work according to department needs, including- overtime, holidays, and emergency shifts
• Attendance and Punctuality a MUST (This is mandatory during training; no exceptions)
• Ability to multitask and time manage efficiently
• Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting or standing with intermediate breaks
• Complete Pre-employment screening such as: skill testing, background check, and drug testing
• HS Diploma or equivalent education
