Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to ensure accurate ICD coding and data input for centralized scheduling across Imaging, Infusion Services and other areas.

You will input all required data to ensure exams are scheduled and preauthorization information is obtained, contributing to smooth patient flow and timely care in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Imaging scheduling experience in healthcare with related education.
• Proficient in ICD coding, medical terminology and insurance information understanding.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for Imaging, Infusion Services and related areas.
• Input all data required for accurate scheduling and preauthorization.

Ensures proper ICD coding and MDS data input for Centralized Scheduling Services. This position schedules patients for Imaging, Infusion Services and multiple other areas. Inputs all data required for accurate scheduling to ensure exams get scheduled and enough information is obtained to get preauthorization.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience/background in Imaging Scheduling and a combination of education and directly related work experience in health care, ICD coding, medical terminology and understanding of insurance information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience inImaging scheduling in either a hospital setting or outpatient setting.
