Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, VT seeks a Patient Safety Technician Float on a per diem basis to support nursing operations and unit safety.

The PST-FLOAT collaborates with the RN Team Lead and CNA, performs clerical duties, assists with ambulation, safety rounds, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality and infection prevention standards.

Requirements include high school diploma, must be 18+, CPR within 3 months of hire; prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under RN Team Lead direction, assist with patient and unit needs and clerical duties to maintain a safe, well-supplied unit.
• Immediately reports changes in patient condition to the primary nurse and informs healthcare staff of complaints.
• Assist with ambulation, meals, patient safety checks, room safety sweeps, and documentation in medical records.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and professional boundaries at all times.
