Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong organizational, customer service and prioritization skills required in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• OSHA Category I: exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues precautions.

Responsibilities

• Under RN Team Lead/ACS, works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing efficient assistance with patient and unit needs.
• Performs clerical duties to support a well-supplied, safe, clean patient unit.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the primary nurse and informs RN/LPN of complaints.
• Calls emergency codes when needed and assists with ambulation, mobility, and meal tray delivery.
• Conducts room safety sweeps and monitors restraints for patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains infection prevention standards and proper patient confidentiality.
