Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the float pool in Belton, MO. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, assist with vital signs, mobility, and daily personal tasks while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will work with a collaborative nursing team to monitor conditions, implement care plans, and help restore comfort and dignity for patients. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA or Education in Lieu of Credential (or Certificate) must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
