Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated security professional in Beverly, MA to protect patients, visitors and staff across the campus. You will patrol on foot or by vehicle, monitor entrances, respond to alarms and codes, and coordinate with local police and emergency responders as needed.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with 1–2 years of healthcare security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current valid driver’s license required.
• CPI NCI Certification, AVADE Levels I-III, BLS CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed and Nasal Naloxone certifications; complete within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to identify hazards and enforce security.
• Enforce ID badges, parking rules and issue temporary badges as needed.
• Respond to codes and alarms per Safety Manual and coordinate with local responders.
• Observe patients and visitors, de-escalate and maintain professional demeanor in chaotic environments.
• Coordinate with Funeral Home staff for removal of deceased patients; maintain logs and reports.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and prepare required reports.
