Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Beverly Hospital is seeking a security professional for an Evening, full-time role in Beverly, MA. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and assist patients, visitors, and colleagues with safety-focused service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, CPI/NCI, AVADE Levels I–III, BLS/CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, and Naloxone certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CPI NCI Certification.
• AVADE Levels I–III Certification.
• BLS Provider CPR & AED.
• AHA Heart-Saver First Aid Certification.
• Stop the Bleed and Nasal Naloxone Certifications.
• Safe Environment for Suicidal/Homicidal Patients and Restraints/Seclusion Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle; report hazards and safety issues.
• Enforce ID badge usage; issue temporary badges to visitors/vendors.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per Safety Manual and policies.
• Assist patients, visitors and colleagues; de-escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire and EMS as directed.
• Assist with vehicle issues and patient/colleague transport.
• Handle banking/pharmacy-related courier tasks and deposits.
• Notify Maintenance about weather-related safety concerns (snow, sanding).
• Coordinate with Funeral Home for removal of deceased patients and paperwork.
• Support quality improvement activities and mandatory education.
