Job summary

The role reports to the Director of Risk Management and guides risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and corrective actions across facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 3–5 years of healthcare risk management experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in acute care.
• Knowledge of risk management processes: identification, reduction, mitigation, claims, contract review.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards and state regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the Patient Safety and Risk Management Program.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify and mitigate organizational risks.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigation, documentation, and trending.
• Analyze events to identify trends and implement risk-reduction strategies.
• Present risk reports to committees such as Fall Prevention and Medication Safety.
• Lead regulatory readiness activities and accreditation surveys.
• Coordinate claims management and support legal processes.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
