Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; CPPS preferred within two years.
• Minimum five years of clinical or healthcare experience in safety/quality.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Implements UNC Health patient safety strategy at assigned sites.
• Serves as primary patient safety resource for sites and liaises with leaders.
• Leads or supports review of safety events, RCAs, and risk assessments.
• Facilitates teams to identify factors and implement corrective actions.
• Tracks actions for timeliness, effectiveness, and sustainment.
