Responsibilities

• Monitors patients remotely via video monitor or at the bedside to ensure patient safety.
• Verbally redirects patients and alerts nursing staff as needed.
• Maintains continuous observation and responds to emergencies.
• Communicates with floor staff in a timely fashion when patient safety is at risk.
• Seeks removal of potential safety hazards and reports findings to staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
