Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Per Diem Patient Observer to join our hospital-based care team. You will work under a Registered Nurse, providing one-to-one observation and assisting with interventions to support safe patient care and learning coping strategies.

You will monitor patient condition, notify nurses of changes, participate in safety monitoring, and help maintain a therapeutic environment while ensuring dignity and compliance with care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years prior experience preferred in Psychiatry and/or related field.
• English language proficiency, verbal and written.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-to-one observation with continuous visualization to ensure safety.
• Assists nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu and safe care.
• Notifies the nurse of any changes in the patient's physical/psychiatric condition.
• Remains with patient at all times unless relieved for breaks or end of shift.
• Completes required documentation and participates in safety checks as directed.
