Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Psychiatry or related field preferred.
• Proficient in English both verbally and written.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-to-one observation with continuous visualization to ensure safety.
• Notifies the patient’s nurse of any changes in condition.
• Remains with the patient at all times during shift, including breaks and meals.
• Initiates patient activities and social interactions per the nursing plan of care.
• Maintains a safe, clean patient environment and adheres to policies.
• Completes required documentation and annual sitter competency evaluations.
