Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Observer to provide constant observation in the ED or patient unit, under RN direction. You will help maintain a safe environment, document activities, and alert nurses to patient needs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, potential college coursework, and BLS certification; you must communicate compassionately, follow procedures, and participate in annual trainings in a full-time role within a large health system.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and empathy when interacting with patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Assures a safe care environment and notifies RN of concerns.
• Receives handoff at shift change with important information.
• Maintains patient observation and notifies RN of changes in behavior.
• Completes documentation and responds to call lights promptly.
• Completes annual education and other required trainings.
